Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has recently released RRB ALP recruitment 2018 notification for 26502 vacancies of RRB ALP & Technician posts. There are total 17673 vacancies released only for Railway Assistant Loco Pilot. The link to apply online for RRB ALP 2018 has been closed now. Railway has not declared exam date of RRB ALP 2018 exam with the official notification. But now, RRB has officially confirmed the RRB ALP exam will be held in August/September 2018. The exam date of RRB ALP 2018 will be the announced in few days. The admit card for RRB ALP recruitment exam will be available to download in July/August 2018.

Salary

The pay scale of RRB Assistant Loco Pilot is Rs 19,900/- which comes under Level 02 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Apart from the salary, the RRB ALP will get various perks and allowances such as House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), Running Allowance, Transport Allowance, New Pension Scheme, and much more.

Application Fee

The Fees structure for For SC/ST, Ex-serviceman, female, minorities, transgender & economically backward classes is Rs. 250. For General & others Rs. 500. Admit Card

The RRB ALP Admit card will be released on official website just before 10-12 days of the examination. The exams are scheduled to be conducted during April / May month. Thus, candidates required to bring their admit card in order to attend the exam in the centre. Only the eligible candidates will be offered the call letter and also will be able to download it once the document verification is done.

How to Download RRB ALP Admit Card 2018?

  • Visit RRB ALP Official website.
  • Choose the respective region/board, and then click on the download the call letter.
  • Fill the registration number and date of birth & click “Submit”.
  • Now download call letter & take a print out now.

   

RRB ALP Selection Procedure

The selection procedure of RRB Assistant Loco Pilot 2018 is based on four phases:
  1. CBT 1 - Duration: 60 Min & No of Questions: 75
  2. CBT 2 - Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes & No of Questions: 175
  3. Aptitude Test (Computer Based)
  4. Document Verification
Candidates will have to attend online test on the computer for the completion of the first two phases. Candidates will be eligible for the 2nd phase of the exam only after qualifying the first stage. The Computer based aptitude test is only for candidates who have opted for ALP. Note that there will be negative marking for an incorrect answer on CBT exams.
